Tasting Notes
A second barrel, deeply toasted, and the result is unashamedly dessert-like. Maple and caramelised sugar with heavy wood — polarising if you want restraint, excellent if you want sweetness.
Nose
maple, toasted oak, dark caramel, vanilla
Palate
syrupy sweetness, caramelised sugar, cocoa, heavy oak
Finish
long, sweet, wood-driven
Best enjoyed neat, rocks.
