The problem
Most retro arcade remakes are single player, or they bury the game under ads, accounts and pop-ups.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants a quick round of classic vector-style arcade action, alone or with someone sitting next to them.
What it does
Fly a small ship through a field of drifting rocks. Thrust, turn and shoot to break them into smaller pieces, and clear the screen before they get you.
Three ways to play:
- Single player: chase the high score, with an optional bot wingman.
- Local co-op: two ships, one screen, clear the field together.
- Local versus: two ships, one screen, and only one walks away.
Each ship has a shield for close calls and a hyperspace jump for when the shield won’t cut it. Some rocks fight back: fast ones, explosive ones, magnetic ones that chase you, and golden ones worth chasing.
Controls
- Player 1 (blue): W or Up to thrust, A and D or Left and Right to turn, Space to shoot, S or Down for shield, C for hyperspace.
- Player 2 (orange): I to thrust, J and L to turn, Enter or O to shoot, K for shield, U for hyperspace.
- Touch screens: on-screen joystick and buttons for one player.
What’s next
- Gamepad support: plug in two controllers instead of sharing a keyboard.
Support it
No ads and nothing to buy. The best support is telling someone who'd use it.
